Age Concern - Hospital Aftercare Scheme
This service provides support to anyone aged 60 or over who has had to attend
the Accident & Emergency Department at Burnley General Hospital. Our staff
provide both a crisis support service and rehabilitation service with support
for up to 8 weeks.

The Carers Access to Health Project supports people who have a caring role, to attend health related appointments. The carer of the cared for must be over 65 years. The service can provide a limited support service whilst the carer attends an appointment and can assist the carer and/or cared for to attend appointments. This service is provided free of charge and is delivered in partnership with and funded by Lancashire County Council. For more information contact the Project Team Leader on 01257 479014.
