Hayley Lynagh - Managing Partner

Owner of your Online Community Magazine

A bit about me..... I have lived, raised my children, and worked in Burnley for 14 years. After completing a Fine Art degree, I went on to pursue a career in Sales & Marketing; With time spent as a Marketing Manager, for a National Leisure Chain, and as a Sales Manager in a publishing company with national distribution.

I designed and created doitin.co.uk, using my knowledge of marketing, advertising and publication, to provide the Burnley community with a much needed service.

Paula Heap

Paula is my business partner in doitin.co.uk. She lives in the Rossendale area and worked in Burnley for many years, spending 16 years in tax and accounts, until becoming self employed 6 years ago as a Life and Business Coach and a Business Advisor. She brings a wealth of financial and business support knowledge to doitin.co.uk

How did it all begin?

The concept of an online community magazine began as a response to a real need for an easy to access community information resource for the public, and an affordable advertising opportunity for local businesses.
As an internet addict, I searched for most goods and services I needed on the internet. This and the fact that it was so difficult to find information about what was available in the Burnley area was responsible for the ideas which eventually led to the creation of doitin.co.uk.

What is it all about?

doitin.co.uk provides a one stop information resource and service for Burnley. It enables anybody with access to a computer to use the information areas of the site for free, and access many services, for a fraction of the cost of similar services, that are normally only available on national sites.
It opens up affordable advertising opportunities for all local businesses, with no competition from similar businesses in neighbouring towns, on a platform that ensures they are reaching their target market within Burnley and its surrounding areas.
